Arrest of Nun and Politicians in Connection with 'Ndrangheta Mafia Investigation in Italy
A nun, Sister Anna Donelli, was arrested in northern Italy for allegedly acting as a go-between for the 'Ndrangheta mafia and its jailed gang members. Two politicians were also arrested and over €1.8m worth of assets were seized. The arrests are a result of a four-year investigation into the 'Ndrangheta, one of Europe's most influential criminal organizations.
