Deadly Explosion at Mogadishu Beach

At least 32 civilians were killed and 63 injured in an explosion at a beach in Mogadishu, Somalia, blamed on the militant group al Shabaab. It was the deadliest attack since October 2022 when twin car bombs killed at least 100 people. The attack was not immediately claimed by al Shabaab. Survivors described a peaceful evening turning into chaos with bodies lying on the beach.
