Film Premiere at Cannes

Director Julia Ducournau received a glowing reception at Cannes for her new film 'Alpha,' which earned an enthusiastic ovation. The premiere faced a brief interruption due to a medical emergency in the audience, but the screening continued. 'Alpha' stars Golshifteh Farahani, Tahar Rahim, Emma Mackey, and Finnegan Oldfield in a surreal drama with an AIDS allegory. Ducournau, known for 'Titane,' made history at Cannes and 'Alpha' is her third feature.
