Settlement in Ashli Babbitt's Wrongful Death Lawsuit

The Trump administration has agreed to pay nearly $5 million to settle a lawsuit brought by the family of Ashli Babbitt, an Air Force veteran and Trump supporter who was fatally shot by a U.S. Capitol Police officer during the January 6 riot at the U.S. Capitol. The settlement does not include an admission of wrongdoing.
