Special Counsel Jack Smith's election subversion case against former President Trump involves a subpoena issued by House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan for information on the political work conducted by the daughter of a New York State Supreme Court Judge. The subpoena targets Authentic Campaigns and its president Loren Merchan, who worked for President Biden and Vice President Harris.
