Cyberattack on U.S. Telecommunications Company

An unidentified hacking group launched a massive cyberattack on a telecommunications company in the U.S. heartland last year, disabling hundreds of thousands of internet routers. The attack was discovered by security analysts at Lumen Technologies' Black Lotus Labs and was one of the most serious cyberattacks against America’s telecommunications sector.
