Shooting of Alleged Car Burglar in Shreveport, Louisiana

A homeowner in Shreveport, Louisiana shot and critically wounded an alleged car burglar. The burglar, 18-year-old Jamelvion Lewis, was shot in the upper body but is now in critical but stable condition. The homeowner feared for his and his family's safety and fired two rounds, hitting Lewis. Detectives believe Lewis and at least one other individual are responsible for a series of crimes in the area.
