Dengue Fever Outbreak in the Florida Keys

Two locally acquired cases of dengue fever have been reported in the Florida Keys, prompting health officials to issue an alert. The CDC has also warned of an increased risk of dengue infections globally. Dengue fever is spread by Aedes aegypti mosquitoes and can cause flu-like symptoms.
