Honors from American Academy of Arts and Letters

Doris Kearns Goodwin, Laurie Anderson, and James C. Horton are being honored by the American Academy of Arts and Letters for their significant contributions to the arts. Goodwin is receiving a Gold Medal for biography, Anderson for music, and Horton for his work in education. The awards will be presented in May alongside the induction of new members like John Williams and Alice McDermott.
