Probe into Former Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Barak for Incitement

Former Prime Minister Ehud Barak in Israel is being probed for incitement after calling for civil disobedience to force the government out in the middle of a war. He urged nonviolent civil noncompliance at a protest rally in Tel Aviv. Barak, a leader in the protest movement against judicial reforms, has been a leading opposition figure and beloved by left-wing critics abroad. The police probe is led by a far-right lawmaker in Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's cabinet.
