Fatal Newport Beach Robbery

Leroy Ernest McCrary, alleged leader of an armed robbery crew, charged with killing a New Zealand tourist outside Newport Beach's Fashion Island mall. McCrary was previously involved in a Rolex theft at gunpoint in Santa Monica but avoided prison time. He now faces a special circumstances murder charge.
