Herbert Hoover's Presidency and Post-Presidency
Herbert Hoover served as America's 31st president and was known for his humanitarian efforts before and after his presidency. He helped Americans return home during World War I and led the Commission for Relief in Belgium. After his presidency, he worked on commissions under other presidents and dedicated time to writing books. Hoover died in 1964.
