Fatal shooting of Greensboro police officer Michael Horan

Greensboro, North Carolina police officer Michael Horan was shot and killed while confronting a man with a firearm at a Food Lion grocer. The suspect fled the scene but was later taken into custody after a high-speed chase. Horan, a husband and father, served in the U.S. Coast Guard before becoming a police officer in 2018.
