Attack on Police Convoy in Iran

Gunmen ambushed a police convoy in Iran's restive southeast, killing six policemen and injuring two others. The Jaish al-Adl militant group claimed responsibility for the attack. The region has seen clashes involving militants, drug smugglers, and security forces.

Militant Attack on Iran Security Forces

At least 27 people, including 11 Iranian security force members and 16 militants, were killed in attacks on Iran's Revolutionary Guards headquarters by Jaish al-Adl group in the southeastern province of Sistan-Baluchestan. The group seeks greater rights for ethnic minority Baluchis in Shi'ite-dominated Iran.
