Terrorism plot targeting Paris Olympics

French authorities raised preliminary terrorism charges against an 18-year-old accused of planning a violent action targeting spectators at the upcoming Paris Olympics on behalf of the Islamic State group's jihadist ideology. The suspect wanted to attack Olympic events to become a martyr.
