Recovery of Jim Morrison's Memorial Bust
A long-lost memorial bust of The Doors' frontman Jim Morrison has been recovered 37 years after it was stolen from Paris' Père Lachaise Cemetery. The bust, created in 1981, was defaced and later taken from the cemetery, a pilgrimage site for fans of Morrison. The bust was found during an unrelated search and Morrison's estate expressed happiness at its recovery.
