Republican Katrina Pierson wins primary runoff for Texas' 33rd House District with the support of Gov. Abott, defeating incumbent Justin Holland. Pierson had backing from former President Trump's spokesperson and Attorney General Ken Paxton. Holland faced scrutiny for opposing key legislation and voting to impeach Paxton.
