Development of LatAmGPT: A New Form of AI in Latin America

A coalition of research institutions in Latin America is developing LatAmGPT, a new form of AI that aims to offer a more representative outlook of Latin America and the Caribbean by incorporating language variances, cultural experiences, and historical nuances of the region. The project is set to launch its first version in June and focuses on ethical and inclusive technological development.
