California Blizzard Hits Sierra Nevada

The most powerful California blizzard of the season pounded the Sierra Nevada with gusts of up to 190 mph, causing road closures and dangerous conditions in the Lake Tahoe and Mammoth Mountain areas. Avalanche warnings were issued, and thousands were left without power. Despite the storm, the Mammoth Film Festival continued with its schedule.
