Ohio Mother Sentenced for Manslaughter After Feeding Diabetic Daughter Mountain Dew

An Ohio mother was sentenced to at least nine years in prison for manslaughter after feeding her diabetic daughter a diet mainly consisting of Mountain Dew, leading to her death from a diabetes-related brain injury. The child was neglected, denied proper nutrition and medical care, and showed symptoms of a serious medical issue before passing away.
