The Boston Celtics won the NBA Championship by defeating the Dallas Mavericks 106-88. Jayson Tatum scored 31 points and was named MVP. The Celtics won their 18th championship, breaking a tie with the Lakers. Kyrie Irving, a former Celtic, scored 15 points for the Mavericks.
