Acquittal of Former NYC Police Officer in Shooting Case

Former NYC police officer acquitted of murder in shooting of childhood friend during a confrontation on Long Island. Jury convicted him of menacing. Attorney General's office investigated the shooting. Jury acquitted him of murder and manslaughter charges.
