Pro-Palestinian Protest at Pomona College
Nineteen students from Pomona College were arrested after a pro-Palestinian protest over artwork depicting an apartheid wall. Eighteen were charged with misdemeanor trespassing and one with obstruction of justice. The college president threatened immediate suspension for participants and banned non-Pomona students from campus. Protestors chanted anti-occupation slogans and some refused to identify themselves, using racial slurs.
