House Republicans Grill Columbia University President Over Hamas Celebrations

House Republicans grilled Columbia University President Dr. Nemat 'Minouche' Shafik over the employment of a professor who celebrated Hamas attacks. The professor was removed as chair of the School of Arts and Sciences Academic Review Committee. Another professor, Dr. Mohamed Abdou, was not returning after controversial statements. Columbia's response to antisemitism was questioned by Congress.
