Luxury Boeing 747-8 Jumbo Jet Gifted to Trump Administration for Air Force One
The Trump administration is set to accept a luxury Boeing 747-8 jumbo jet from Qatar's royal family to be used as Air Force One until shortly before Trump leaves office, at which point it will be transferred to the Trump presidential library foundation. Legal analysis has determined it is permissible as it is not conditioned on any official act or violates the Constitution's prohibition on foreign gifts. The plane will be modified by the U.S. Air Force to meet presidential transport specifications.
