Defaced Holocaust Survivor Murals Acquired by Shoah Museum in Rome

The Shoah Museum in Rome acquired a piece by contemporary pop artist aleXsandro Palombo after it was defaced in an act of antisemitism. The mural depicted Holocaust survivors Liliana Segre and Sami Modiano and was eventually reproduced for the museum's permanent collection.
