Sony Music Acquires Queen's Music Catalog

Sony Music has reportedly bought the music catalog of Queen for $1.27 billion, making it the biggest deal of its kind. Queen's founding members will retain revenue from live performances. The band's popularity surpasses that of Michael Jackson and Bruce Springsteen. Sony also acquired a 50% interest in Michael Jackson's music for at least $600 million.
