Death of Sophie Hediger in Avalanche at Arosa Mountain Resort
Switzerland's national snowboard cross team member, Sophie Hediger, dies in an avalanche at Arosa mountain resort. She was 26 and had achieved World Cup podium places in 2023-24 season and participated in the 2022 Winter Olympics in China.
