The first heat wave of the season is hitting the Southwest U.S. earlier than usual, with triple-digit temperatures forecasted for areas including Phoenix, Las Vegas, and parts of California. Excessive heat warnings have been issued, and fire crews are on high alert. Unfortunately, four migrants died from heat-related causes while attempting to cross the border in southeast New Mexico.
