Deployment of Strykers to U.S. Southern Border

Strykers, eight-wheeled armored vehicles, deployed to U.S. Southern Border to support Customs and Border Protection in surveillance and detection of illegal migrants, not weaponized. Used as a deterrent as well. Numbers of encounters have decreased in the El Paso sector. Cartels are reportedly deterred by the presence of these vehicles.
