Violent Riots by Panama's Suntracs Union Members

Members of Panama’s Suntracs construction workers’ union staged violent riots in opposition to a bill reforming the Panamanian Social Security Fund, resulting in injuries to police officers and numerous arrests. The government condemned the violence and promised to take legal action against the rioters.
