Lawsuit Over Titan Submersible Implosion
The family of a French explorer who died in a submersible implosion during a voyage to the Titanic wreck site in the North Atlantic has filed a $50 million lawsuit against OceanGate, the operator of the submersible, for gross negligence. The lawsuit alleges that the crew experienced terror and mental anguish before the disaster, and raises concerns about the unconventional design of the submersible and lack of transparency from OceanGate.
