Tuition Increase at University of Wisconsin

In-state tuition at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and other campuses in the system will increase by 3.75% next school year under a plan approved by the Board of Regents. Combined with an increase in fees, the total tuition and fee increase will be 4.4% on average. This tuition hike is expected to generate about $39 million a year systemwide and will be used to combat rising costs.

University of Wisconsin Construction and Renovation Projects

Democratic Gov. Tony Evers signed a bill authorizing spending on University of Wisconsin construction and renovation projects, part of a deal with Republican lawmakers. The bill transfers funds for various projects across the UW system.
