Victoria Nuland's Retirement from State Department

Victoria Nuland, a Russia hawk, is stepping down as Under Secretary of State for Political Affairs after two years since Russia's invasion of Ukraine. Her retirement comes after losing out on the deputy secretary of state position to Kurt Campbell. She was known for her support of Ukraine and NATO expansion, drawing criticism for her hawkish views towards Russia.
