Young women are increasingly identifying as liberal compared to their male counterparts, driving a stark political gender gap. This trend is seen across different age groups, with women aged 18 to 29 being 15 percentage points more likely to identify as liberal than men in the same group. The gender gap has widened significantly since 2000, and this trend is also observed in older age groups.
