Florida Governor Ron DeSantis is facing setbacks in the legislative session as fellow Republicans are not supporting his proposals, including tax cuts and programs like Hope Florida. Lawmakers are not endorsing his tax cut plans and the budget is not including many of his desired initiatives. DeSantis is also facing rejection of his appointees to college and university boards.
