Illegal Migrants Smuggling Themselves Out of the United States
A growing number of illegal migrants are smuggling themselves out of the United States to avoid government deportations by using 'smuggling packages' offered by coyotes. Haitians are self-deporting to avoid immediate deportation back to Haiti. The trend is acknowledged by The New York Times and is bad news for business groups looking for more imported customers, workers, and renters.
