Assassination Attempt on Former President Donald Trump
Former President Donald Trump's rally in Butler, Pennsylvania was the first time Secret Service sent a counter-sniper to protect him after surviving an assassination attempt. The Secret Service admitted to the failure in not covering the nearby building from which the assassin fired. Increased security requests for Trump had been denied in the past. It was revealed that an assassination attempt warning was sent via email to the Secret Service.
