Illegal Immigration and Border Security in Texas

Three Mexican nationals from Coahuila were apprehended by Texas law enforcement after crossing the border and setting off a sensor alert. They were charged with criminal trespass and could face up to one year in jail under Governor Abbott's State of Emergency. This is part of Operation Lone Star, aimed at deterring illegal crossings.
