A United Airlines flight from San Francisco to Japan lost one of its tires just after takeoff and was diverted to Los Angeles. No injuries were reported.

A United Airlines flight from London to Newark, New Jersey was diverted to Bangor International Airport due to unruly passengers. Two intoxicated passengers were removed from the flight upon landing. The FBI and Customs and Border Protection are investigating the incident.
