American Rescue Plan and U.S. Economic Recovery

President Joe Biden falsely claimed that the American Rescue Plan started the U.S. recovery from the pandemic. In reality, the U.S. economic recovery was already well underway before the plan was signed, and it may have even derailed the recovery by contributing to inflation.
