Fare-dodger incident at Times Square station in NYC

Six undercover police officers struggled for 15 minutes to restrain an alleged fare-dodger at Times Square station in NYC. The man had a bench warrant for criminal possession of stolen property and was sent to Bellevue Hospital for observation. Fare evasion reportedly cost $690 million in 2023. NYC officials and NYPD are targeting fare-evaders to combat crime in the transit system.
