Texas Law on Prosecution of Migrants

The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit issued a temporary stay on a lower court order blocking the implementation of a Texas law allowing prosecution of migrants illegally entering the state. The law provides a mechanism for Texas to remove migrants from the country. The U.S. Supreme Court may intercede if the temporary stay is not lifted.
