Closure of Quaker Oats Factory in Danville, Illinois

The Quaker Oats Company is permanently closing its factory in Danville, Illinois, affecting upwards of 500 employees. The closure is part of a consolidation effort following a granola bar recall in December. Quaker Oats will continue to pay employees until June 8, 2024, when the closure takes effect.
