38-year-old Shannon Cortez Gooden fatally shot two police officers and a firefighter/paramedic in Burnsville, Minnesota. Gooden had a felony conviction and was prohibited from possessing firearms. He sought to have his firearm rights restored in 2019 but was refused. Gooden was found dead by suicide in his home after the incident.
