Suspected Russian-Run Sabotage Plot in Europe

A suspected Russian-run sabotage plot involving fake cosmetics, massage pillows, and sex toys led to three parcels being detonated in Britain, Germany, and Poland. The parcels contained homemade incendiary devices made of reactive chemicals and were believed to be a dry run for future attacks on cargo flights to the United States and Canada. The Kremlin denies involvement, and European officials describe the incidents as part of a 'hybrid war' by Russia.
