Salma Shurrab, a dentistry student from Gaza, survived the military offensive by Israel and fled to Egypt. She found solace in journaling and now helps others confront their pain through writing. The mental health challenges faced by Palestinians, especially youths, are exacerbated by ongoing conflict and trauma. Shurrab, now in Cairo, continues to host journaling workshops to promote healing and resilience.
