Creation of a Lunar Time Zone for the Moon

The Biden Administration is calling on NASA to create a moon-based time standard called Coordinated Lunar Time (LTC) to ensure the success of future multinational missions to the moon. This new time zone is necessary due to the difference in time passing on the moon compared to Earth, which could create problems for space flight if not addressed.
