Floods in Bangladesh

At least 20 people have died and over 5.2 million have been affected by floods in Bangladesh caused by monsoon rains. Relief efforts are hampered by blocked roads. Government is taking measures to help the flood victims.

Landslide in Nepal

Rescuers in Nepal have ruled out chances of finding survivors in a landslide that swept two buses into a river, with 55 passengers still missing. Search operations continue to recover bodies after seven have been found. Landslides and floods from monsoon rains have killed over 100 people in Nepal since mid-June.

Floods and Landslides in India's Northeast

Heavy rains in India's northeast have caused floods and landslides, resulting in at least 16 deaths and displacing over 300,000 people. Rescue efforts by the Indian army and air force are ongoing in the worst-hit states of Assam and Arunachal Pradesh.
