Oil Sheen in Southern California Coast

Millions of gallons of sewage discharged into the ocean caused the closure of California beaches in Long Beach and San Pedro. An oil sheen off the Southern California coast was possibly from a natural seep from the ocean floor. Lab tests have not definitively identified the oil source but suspect it to be from natural seepage.
